On October 10, 2024, the Ministry of Economy and Finance released a Prakas that extends tax incentives for tourism businesses specifically in Siem Reap province until June 2025. This decision comes after the previous Prakas No. 119, issued on February 8, 2024, which provided tax incentives to tourism enterprises across various provinces. In contrast to the earlier incentives available in multiple provinces, the 2024 Prakas is solely dedicated to the tourism sector in Siem Reap.
Specification
Location: The recent Prakas is specifically aimed at tourism businesses in Siem Reap.
Ongoing Relief: Tax breaks will remain in effect until June 2025.
No Inspections: Tourism companies in Siem Reap will be exempt from audits during the 2024 fiscal year.
