On 15 September 2022, Accounting and Auditing Regulator (ACAR) issue Notification 067 on provision of additional time for submission of 2021 financial statements for non-profit entities (NPEs).
In accordance with Instruction 010 Dated 15 March 2022 on Accounting and Auditing Obligation for non-profit organizations and Notification 059 dated 12 August 2022 on Submission of 2021 financial statements through E-Filing System for non-profit organizations, ACAR observe some NPEs have completed online filing while NGO faces some technical issues causing some enterprises to be unable to complete the submission in E-Filing for NPEs.
ACAR decides to provide additional time:
Subsequently, ACAR issue Notification 069 dated 3 October 2022. ACAR decides to provide additional time of 10 days:
If NPEs do not file financial statements to ACAR based on above deadline, ACAR must submit request letter of delay to ACAR by stating reasons before the deadline of financial statements. ACAR will check and decide on each request based on reason and actual circumstance.
Failure to do so by this above results in penalties laid out in Sub-Decree 79 dated 1 June 2020 on Provisional Fines for the Violation of the Law on Accounting and Auditing.
