On December 18, 2023, the General Department of Taxation (“GDT”) issued a Notification regarding the inspection of tax payments on transportation means for the year 2023.
This announcement will that the inspection of the tax payments on means of transportation for year 2023 will take place from January 15 to March 31, 2024.
Failure to declare or pay tax on means of transportation will result in an additional 100 percent tax penalty.
