The Ministry of Economy and Finance ("MEF") sent out a notification letter on May 27, 2024, about the collection on vehicle tax for that year. The public is informed by this statement about the paperwork and methods that will be needed in 2024 to pay vehicle taxes. The period for collecting transportation-related taxes will begin on June 1, 2024, and end on November 30, 2024.
The Law on Taxation stipulates that administrative fines will be imposed for late tax payments. On November 30, 2024, the General Department of Taxation will work with the appropriate authorities to inspect the execution of this tax collection on the streets.
